With the advice from E45, today's post is on how to continue that summer feeling as we progress into Autumn and the back to school time. I know I don't want to let it go just yet so here are a few ways, along with a few products, giving you tips on how to keep it going!
Firstly, keep injecting that colour! Match your lips and tips (I love that saying!) with similar colours, such as bright pinks or corals to keep that spirit high. Above you can see a Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick, a gorgeous bright pink which is my lip product of choice currently. An amazing coordinating colour for your nails is Gosh Flamingo, a blue toned pink super duper shiny shade.
Did you forget about your lips in the sun? Give them some care by using a scrub such as Lush Bubblegum lip scrub, and slap on that lip balm to rekindle the moisture and avoid the dreaded chapped lips in the colder months. Why not try the Balmi Lip Balm in Raspberry, one of my personal favourites!
Also, perfume! This can really lighten your mood, and my current favourite is from Next, and 'Eau Bloom' is only around £6!
Perhaps you haven't been on holiday this year like me, but you want to kid your classmates and create a faux glow? If you're after a light sun kissed look, to top up what you've already had, then the Garnier Summer body lotion in light is amazing! Or, if you want to go all out, try the Garnier Ambre Solaire Self Tan Gel which I have been road testing. It goes on clear so you have to be weary that you get everywhere, but it looks so natural and fades evenly. Lastly for glow, use the Bourjois Bronzing Primer on your face. It's been a firm favourite for me all summer, over the face, so ease yourself in to the cold months and pop it onto the cheek bones and temples under foundation.
Finally, have you been naughty and not worn sun cream? If so, try out the E45 Nourish and Restore Lotion for dry skin or the Intense Recovery Lotion for very dry skin. They're super moisturising and leave your skin feeling silky soft, no more flaky dry skin patches! Start using it now to keep your skin supple all winter. They're very effective at repairing arms and legs which need some care.
If you're after something a little lighter, the other two featured by Garnier and Vaseline are very light moisturisers for the lazier of us all.
Hopefully you enjoyed this post, all items are linked where applicable so you can buy them for yourself!
